Reality Check // Week 16

Today, I join in the celebration of my brother-in-law and new sister-in-law as they get hitched!! It's going to be a fantastic event! I'm looking forward to seeing so many of our family, many of which we haven't had a chance to see since our own wedding in 2014.

So please excuse me for the short post, it's been a busy week!

Here are some of our favorite pictures from our family portrait session with Levi! Huge thanks to the extremely talented Carolyn Scott Photography! Here is their blog post about our shoot which has many more pictures on it. We highly recommend Carolyn and her husband Geoff (aka: the nicest people on the planet). This husband and wife duo live in Durham, NC but are willing to travel anywhere on Earth (and maybe even not on Earth). The highest compliment I can pay them is to simply say that it takes a very special artist to capture emotions in a photograph, and these two do it so effortlessly. They have captured our feelings, our personalities, and shine a beautiful light of authenticity and transparency into these moments of our lives. This was our third session with them, the first one was engagement and the second one was our wedding. I think they have outdone themselves again!
