Mindset Monday // Doubt

The fear of making a decision is usually never about the path toward your outcome- that outcome that you've been dreaming about, planning for, investing your emotional energy into. It's the fear that your outcome won't be realized.
What is so easy to discount is the path. The journey. The time it takes to travel from point A to point B. And all of the learning, growing, additional decision making that will take place along the way.
Anytime we achieve something, we can look back in hindsight and the journey is in perspective. In 20/20 as we like to say. Perfect view. We feel so comforted that all the unknowns are finally known that it really ends up not mattering as much whether the achievement was big or small, whether it came the way we thought it would, or whether it really came at all. We can take even a small win, or consider lessons learned along the way as wins in the process. And the reason we can do this is because of the relief that we no longer have to have doubts.
What if we could live in that relief at the beginning of the process, knowing that everything will be OK?
We could make decisions and move forward with ease.
We could enjoy the journey, and worry less about the actual outcome.
We could learn more, grow more, and circumvent failure by having won along the way.
And in this mindset, we will never fail.
